The Welshman of the Ducati Go Eleven team has recovered from the Montmeló accident, where he sustained a broken rib in the Superpole Race, and will take over from Loris Baz, who had replaced him in a great way (two podiums in five races). Davies will therefore be able to enjoy the last two rounds as a Superbike rider.
The British from Kawasaki, on the other hand, has definitely overcome his wrist problems and will also take part in the weekend, but the same cannot be said of Tom Sykes: the BMW veteran still suffers from the after-effects of the serious accident at Montmeló, when he was run over by Lucas Mahias. For him Mandalika could be the last round in Superbike: for now he is without a team.
