Wrestling | Matias Lipasti’s victory and defeat at the World Wrestling Championships

Finland and Ilmajoki Contestants Matias Lipasti experienced a win and a loss at the World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. Lipasti wrestled in the 72-kilogram category.

In their opening match, Lipasti defeated the wrestling country Uzbekistan by Mirzobek Rahmatov in chapters 5–5. Lipasti took the win with the final point, which included his stunning four-point performance.

“Yes, at the end of the match there was a violent lift and a handsome back belt by Lipasti. In that, the Uzbek’s previous landslides from Lipast were suddenly forgotten”, the head coach Juha Lappalainen uttered.

Lithuanian WC and EC bronze medalist Kristupas Sleiva didn’t let Lipasti take it by surprise, but took a 6–3 point victory in a phased match. Since the Lithuanian wrestler was not able to win the group, Lipastin was in your knowledge until Saturday.
