A few days before the Rally of Catalonia, the penultimate round of the WRC 2021, the organizers of the ACI Rally Monza Italia have unveiled how the race course will be composed of what, once again this year, will be the last event of the World Rally.
The 2021 edition of the second Italian round of the WRC 2021 consists of 16 special stages, for a total of 254.46 timed kilometers. Also this year it will be a mix of special stages that will be held in the Bergamo province (stages on the local hills, as in 2020) and special stages inside the park and the Autodromo Internazionale di Monza.
The activities will start on Thursday 18 November with the Shakedown starting at 5:56 pm from the squares of the Alboreto curve of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
The first PS Gerosa 1 is scheduled for Friday 19 November at 7:31 am. The PS 2 of Costa Valle Imagna 1 will follow at 8:16. Later, the two locations will host two more tests: PS 3 Gerosa 2 will be at 10:16, while PS 4 Valle Costa Magna 2 will be held at 11.01. In the afternoon, the cars will return to the racetrack and compete in quick succession in SS 5 and 6 called Junior 1 (13:38) and Junior 2 (15:48), before closing the day at 18:20 with Grand Prix 1 (PS 7).
Special Stages 8 to 13 will be held on Saturday 20 November. San Fermo and Selvino are the selected locations for SS 8 to 11. SS 8 will be San Fermo 1 at 7:15 am, followed by Selvino 1 exactly one hour later. . At 10:45 am and 11:45 am it will be the turn of SS 10 and 11 (San Fermo 2 and Selvino 2). In the afternoon they will be held in Autodromo Roggia 1 and Roggia 2, respectively PS 12 and 13 at 14:51 and 17:01.
Finally, Sunday 21 November there will be the Special Stages at the end of the event, all scheduled in the Temple of Speed. SS 14 will be Gran Prix 2 at 7:48 am, while SS 15 and 16 will be called Serraglio 1 (10:08) and Serraglio 2 (12:18) and will take place in the homonymous area of the circuit.
