With 38-year-old Zack Greinke Houston on the mound, Houston got off to a great start at Atlanta’s Truist Park. The veteran pitcher threw four errorless innings and saw his team take a 0-2 lead in that period thanks to José Altuve. The second baseman walked in the first run in the first inning and hit a solo homerun in inning four.
Under the watchful eye of former President Donald Trump, Atlanta came back in the sixth inning via Austin Riley, who batted in Eddie Rosario, then homeruns by Dansby Swanson and Jorge Soler decided the game in favor of the Braves. The Albies team can now win its first title since 1995 in game 5 at home next night. With a win, the Braves can no longer be traced by the 2017 champion.
