Extraordinary race at COTA, Maverick Viñales he won despite a carambola in Turn-1 triggered by Jorge Martin which had dropped him to eleventh position in the first lap.
Martin maintains the lead in the World Championship despite losing its edge over the distance, finishing off the podium. Second in the rankings, 21 points behind the Martinator, is Enea Bastianini, effective as always at COTA and the best at the finish line of the riders who chose the soft tire on the rear (the Beast is always very kind with the tyres).
In addition to Vinales and the solid Martin, the cover takes the heat today Pedro Acosta, second at the finish line and fourth in the ranking. Fifth under the checkered flag and fifth in the standings -30 behind Martin Francesco Bagnaia. Fall for Marc Marquez when he was leader of the race.
