Tokyo, Japan.- Unpublished moments have occurred in a World Cup. In this Qatar 2022 fair, the dream of the footballers was fulfilled: Ao Tanaka and Kaouru Mitoma, who represented the Japan National Team that made one of its best presentations in seven cups played.
The two soccer players have a curious fact that not many knew until after having seen them play with the blue samurai in this first competition that the Middle East hosted: They had known each other since they were children and both had the dream of participating in a World Cup tournament. .
Ao Tanaka and Kaouru Mitoma studied at the same school but they were not from the same class because they are of different ages. Even so, once the two wrote how they looked when they were great, each one had the dream of representing their country and in this 2022 their dream came true, but that effort of being summoned by the coach, Hajime Moriyasu.
They both grew up in the city of Kawasaki and went to first and middle school together. Later they were in the same team, Saginuma SC, to later be part of the basic forces of Kawasaki Frontale.
Their performance in professional soccer allowed each one to be included in the list of 26 selected that Japan revealed to participate in Qatar 2022. The two made their dream come true and not only that, but thanks to their efforts they gave victory to their squad.
In the match against Spain, Kaoru Mitoma stepped up to save a ball that was lost at the end line so that Ao Tanaka finished off point-blank to turn the game around and thus define the victory of the Japanese to be leaders of their group.
