The redevelopment work on the Spa-Francorchamps track is proceeding head-on and has now moved on to the track.
The legendary circuit that rises on the Ardennes in 2022 wants the double FIA-FIM homologation, given that the 24h of the World Endurance Motorcycle World Championship is scheduled in June, for which the Grade C required by two wheels is required.
The workers began on November 15 to work on the adjacent infrastructures, such as the stands and the various buildings present, as well as the access and service routes.
Now is the time to get into action along the 7km of the Belgian circuit, whose gravel escape routes will need to be widened by removing the asphalted parts.
The changes concern the curves ‘La Source’, ‘Bruxelles’ and ‘Blanchimont’ in order, as well as other parts in the areas reserved for the public, in order to guarantee a better view.
