The Spanish women’s soccer team already knows who their rivals will be in the next group stage Euro 2022 after the draw that took place on Thursday afternoon in Manchester.
In total there will be 16 participating teams that aspire to reach the final on July 31 at Wembley and succeed the Netherlands as the best team in Europe.
• Group A: England, Austria, Norway and Northern Ireland
• B Group: Germany, Denmark, Spain and Finland
• Group C: Netherlands, Sweden, Russia and Switzerland
• Group D: France, Italy, Belgium and Iceland
The Eurocup will begin on July 6 with the opening match England – Austria. The group stage will conclude on July 18. The two best teams in each group will qualify for the quarterfinals to be played in a single match. Then the semifinals and finally the grand final.
