Women who wrote “GUR” on the monument to Zhukov were arrested
Two women wrote the name of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR) on a monument near the Kremlin.
On the morning of Tuesday, June 4, 28- and 55-year-old women damaged the monument to commander Georgy Zhukov on Manezhnaya Square, which was erected in honor of the 50th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. They wrote “GUR” on the pedestal with a can of spray paint.
The attackers were detained. They admitted to law enforcement officials that they committed a crime ordered by Ukrainian scammers. According to 55-year-old Vera Nikolaeva, a nurse who works as a nurse, the swindlers swindled her out of three million rubles and pushed her into committing a crime.
