Woman arrested after murder of Cereso custodian in Chihuahua goes into labor

A woman who was arrested along with six other people for her alleged responsibility in the homicide of the Cereso custodian from Chihuahua, Nicolás M., could not attend hearing of accusation formulation that was carried out this Thursday under criminal case 1451/2024, because went into labor and is in a hospital.

The rest of the detainees are Raúl Octavio, 26 years old, Emilio Fernando, 27 years old, Brenda Lourdes, 24 years old, Kevin Eduardo, 28 years old, Valeria, 31 years old, and Héctor Jaime, 37 years old, who were present at the hearing.

These seven people were arrested for their probable responsibility in the homicide of Nicolás M., recorded on April 15 between Catedral de Guadalajara and Catedral de Chihuahua streets in the Predio de Cantera neighborhood.

The victim, who was custodian of the Cereso de Chihuahuawas attacked by gunfire when he was traveling in a vehicle along with his son, who is 3 years old and was unharmed, as well as a bodyguard who was traveling with them.

Hours after the crime, derived from an operation implemented in the municipalities of Cuauhtémoc and Riva Palacio, the authorities managed to arrest the seven defendants. In addition, 4 vehicles and 3 firearms were seized.
