Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi launched the national project for the development of the Egyptian countryside, “a decent life”.
In the project launch document, President El-Sisi said: “We seek God’s help, trust in the capabilities of our dear homeland, believe in the will of our great people in facing challenges, and are certain that this people deserves a decent life that befits the sacrifices they have made, the challenges they faced and the difficulties they endured so that our Egypt remains Dear Abby.”
He continued, “I announce the launch of the national project for the development of the Egyptian countryside and a decent life, to be a luminous sign and a good year in the course of the Egyptian nation, and always with the strength and will of its people, Egypt will live.”
Yesterday, Thursday, the Egyptian President delivered a speech at the celebration of the launch of the Egyptian Rural Development Project, a decent life initiative, which was held at Cairo International Stadium with the participation of a large number of state figures.
The “Dignified Life” initiative in Egypt seeks to unify efforts among all state institutions in cooperation with: “civil society, private sector companies, and development partners in Egypt and abroad in the file of sustainable development”, and also aims to eliminate “multidimensional poverty”, in order to alleviate the burden of Citizens, especially the neediest families in the targeted villages and centers, which number 4,658 villages, with investments estimated at 700 billion pounds.
