The spinning snow castle and ice carousel disco that appeared on Roihuvuori on Sunday are possibly the first in the world, the inventor, known for his many types of raptures, thinks.
Joy was released on sea ice on Sunday in front of the Strömsinlahti marina in Helsinki.
Inventor Janne Käpylehto and the activists of the Roihuvuori club had built a spinning snow castle and ice disco to celebrate the schoolchildren’s winter holiday and the Finnish gold hockey national team’s Olympic gold, which coincided at the same time.
Käpylehto said that he wanted to present a public invitation to Leijon to celebrate the revolving castle.
“It was an insanely great game in the morning. That’s why I’d like to offer the team a revolving castle party. Such celebrations are rare. Static castle parties have reportedly been held before. ”
The ice carousel will freeze during the night, but Käpylehto promises to come open the ice again on Monday if the winners so wish.
Rotary the snow castle and ice disco are possibly the first of their kind in the world, at least according to Käpylehto, known for its diverse captures.
Around 30 people from the surrounding area took part in their construction.
According to Käpylehto, there were more partygoers. They were entertained by, among other things, a dj Kim Rantala and a steaming sausage stall.
“It’s a wild go here. The castle is full of families with children. ”
The ice carousel, which carries a couple of hundred people at a time, spins in the words of Käpylehto, “smoothist with rye power”.
“Someone goes half a foot on foot once every half hour, no outboard is needed.”
