If the confusion regarding the identity of Starfield has grown over the last few months despite its appearance during E3 2021, doubts regarding its release are no less, and especially on the platforms on which it will be possible to take advantage of the new title Bethesda, and whether it will be possible to play on PS5.
Just the company, after its entry into the ranks of Microsoft, therefore sees its future quite mysterious, but above all all players who do not know if in the future they will be able to enjoy the company’s titles on platforms other than PC and Xbox see it. The question of Starfield and PS5 it is just another point in a list of doubts that seems destined to grow.
Pete Hines And Aaron Greenberg they shared the information in their possession with the community, during a digital question and answer that took place during Gamescom. The answers are clear enough, with Pete Hines stating:
Starfield was announced as if it were an Xbox exclusive, I don’t understand why you should keep talking about playable stuff on PlayStation. In any case, I do not know the answer to this question right now.
His declaration has therefore raised more doubts than answers, however Greenberg has somehow managed to give a clearer design: according to his words, in fact, it seems that Starfield is not destined to arrive on PS5, nor that it is a timed exclusive, but that it will be released exclusively on PC and Xbox:
We tried to be as clear as possible, not a timed exclusive, it’s just where the game was made.
These last words therefore go to disappoint many of the fans, although there are still no official confirmations, but only answers to questions to the players. If really Starfield doesn’t arrive on PS5 and turns out to be a PC and Xbox exclusive as Greenberg claims, it might just be the first of many company titles.
