Will there be a sequel to “Lightyear”? producer responds
Among the new information that was shared we have that Zurg is not Buzz’s father (as “Toy Story 2” revealed), but that he was an older Buzz from the parallel universe who became obsessed with fixing his original timeline.
This leads us to think about the possibility that there is more information to be seen about the plot of “Lightyear” and explore a “what if” scenario Zurg had succeeded in his mission.
On this subject, producer Galyn Susman told Murphy’s Universe that the possibility of a sequel is not out of the question. “I think we could have a second movie with all the ideas that we rejected. For now we are very excited to see this movie in theaters. Let’s see how people respond,” she shared.
