We know that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the next film in the franchise, will be set years after the arc of the Tournament of Power that we saw in the anime. This due to the fact that Bread, who was a baby in this arc, already looks grown up in the feature film.
In theory we should be seeing larger versions of some characters and yes, that includes Trunks and Goten. The first official teaser for this movie didn’t show us any of them, but following Pan’s same logic, then this pair should have grown up by now. Let’s remember that neither Trunks neither Goten They have had the opportunity to shine in the manga of the saga, which is already much more advanced than the anime, so it would be a good opportunity to bring them back to the movies.
Likewise, we don’t know how involved they are going to be in its plot, but it would be a great idea to see a teenage version of Gotenks, the fusion between these two warriors. Hopefully, a second trailer will give us more details about the film.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero It will debut sometime in 2022.
Editor’s note: Like many other fans, I too have wanted to see mature versions of Goten and trunks. Gotenks he’s one of my favorite characters from all of anime, and knowing what his teenage version would look like would definitely be interesting.
