We still don’t even have a concrete release date for god of war ragnarok on consoles PlayStation, but the community is already interested in learning about the possibility of a PC port. Now that the original title is already available on this platform, Cory Barlog, creative director of sony santa monica, talked about the hypothetical version of ragnarok on PC.
As part of a new interview with Game Informer, Barlog was questioned about the possibility of seeing ragnarok in pc within the next four years, and his response was as follows:
“I have no idea. Right now, we’re taking it easy, looking at each other and thinking, ‘Okay, is this the best we can do? And then we’ll see the rest. Did people like it? We did it well? What did we do wrong? What can we improve in the future? But at the end of the day, ultimately, it’s Sony’s decision.”
Barlog was always in favor of God of War is coming to PC, but says the notion was supported by “a collective of studios within PlayStation“. Later, he revealed that he constantly suggested to the top executives of PlayStation bring God of Wara PC, and finally got his wish. How well does this version run? Here you can read our analysis.
god of war ragnarok arrives at PS5 and PS4 at some point in 2022.
Publisher’s note: If I had to bet, I’d say that eventually Ragnarok will be making its way to PC gamers. Same case with Horizon Forbidden West. After all, let’s remember that the PC market is becoming an important part of Sony’s business strategy, and I don’t think they’re going to let it go anytime soon.
