EA Sports could officially release an announcement capable of upsetting the most nostalgic of the videogame community: the 20th of this month could be revealed which of the old EA sports franchises will be brought back to life in the videogame parterre of the company. The rumor – which has already caught on on Twitter via the Saycheese TV account – has sparked a large number of suppositions and enthusiastic comments.
Saycheese TV, with the huge array of followers that stormed the Tweet, released the news a few hours ago, and listed some of the tantalizing hypotheses, including Fight Night Round 4, Street Vol. 2, NCAA, the much acclaimed NBA Live, and the historian SSX, DEF Jam Fight For Ny.
Users have also brought to attention much more, creating a chain of nostalgia and hopes (hopefully well placed). Unfortunately there are still no great clues that allow us to imagine what EA Sports’s choice could actually be, but we appreciate the choice of making a title of the past revive. After the denial of adding advertising to your products, here’s another well thought out step.
Although in a new sauce, many EA products can still work and the enthusiasm unleashed by the community confirms it. Among the many speculations – given chand the company has not yet confirmed and denied anything -, and there is also talk of the possibility of bringing the title on a new generation console and this is one of the points that most convinces users.
It just looks like it could be an announcement (unexpectedly) very welcome by the community, albeit not imagined until now. In a world that looks to the next-gen, these winks to the past are increasingly frequent, which continues to be a safe haven for video game developers. Also in this case, old glories of the old generations are going to be caught, as already anticipated by the possible remake of Dead Space.
Provided that the announcement arrives on July 20, we could find out more about it really shortly after, given the upcoming EA Play event confirmed by the company.
