Will Cell return in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero? | Atomix

A few days ago a new trailer was released for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and as usual, fans began to theorize about the possible secret villain. During part of this preview we can see a kind of capsule connected to a lot of tubes, but who is inside it? There are several theories, and many of them point to the return of Cell.

As you know, Cell was destroyed during Dragon Ball Z and unlike other villains, since then we have not heard from him again. At least in franchise canon. Due to the above, fans think that this antagonist will return in superhero much stronger than ever.

Another important clue is that Gohan will have a big fight superhero, And while the trailers have hinted that this fight will be against the new androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, it is also likely that we will see a rematch against Cell. At the moment these are pure theories, and we will have to wait until the premiere of the feature film to know the official answer.

Publisher’s note: On the one hand, I would love to see Cell back, but on the other hand, I would also prefer to have some original villain. Toriyama and his team did a great job with all the new Super characters, and I think it would be a good opportunity for Super Hero to give us some antagonist that really tests all of the Z Fighters.
