If the elections were today, Who would you vote for for the Municipal Presidency of Mocorito?
This Sunday June 2, 2024 It is an important day for the citizens of Mexico, because on this day they will celebrate federal and local elections in which they will vote for the new president of the Republic and the Senate, the federal Congress and local congresses will be renewed, as well as the mayoralties of various states.
In the case of Sinaloa, the municipal president elections in the 18 districts of the state, in addition to the two new municipalities: Eldorado and Juan José Ríos. The candidates who are elected will assume the Municipal Presidency for the period 2024-2027.
So citizens must make an important decision that will mark the course of the country, the state and the municipality where they live. To do this, it is essential to find out about each of the candidates participating in the electoral contest, as well as their profiles and career paths.
In the case of Mocorito, there are six candidates seeking to reach the Municipal Presidency:

During the campaign period, each of the candidates for mayor of Mocorito have presented their proposals to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality and bring economic development to the community.
Profiles
José Silvano Higuera Merazcandidate of the Fuerza y Corazón collision for Sinaloa, graduated as an agronomist from the Antonio Narro Autonomous Agrarian University, he has been part of the PAS structure for eight years and has spent two years as president of the CDM of Mocorito and two years as councilor of this municipality.

Claudio Lopez Camacho, standard bearer of the Labor Party, completed a degree in primary education at the Sinaloa Normal School, throughout his life he has stood out as a sports promoter. He has a career in politics and public administration, he was secretary of the delegation of primary teachers, he served as trustee of Pericos, councilor and secretary of the City Council, he was also an official of the SEP for six years and a local deputy.

Marcia Yadira Guerrero González, from the PVEM, she graduated from the Escuela Normal Superior de Durango and since her foray into education she became aware of the needs of families who live in rural communities. Her experience and closeness to her people led her to become a social manager who, without holding public office, dedicated herself to landing projects that benefited the population.

Yuriel Karely Gamez Peñuñuri, for MC, studied at the Normal School of Sinaloa, served as a youth representative in the youth front, was a substitute deputy in the LXIII legislature of the Congress of the state of Sinaloa and a union delegate of the 161.

- Provide road safety education to avoid traffic jams

Enrique Parra Melecio, Morena candidate, has a master’s degree in science education from the UAS, was a member of the Mexican Communist Party with which he participated in the 1982 and 1983 elections, the first as a candidate for federal deputy and in the second he sought reach the municipal presidency of Mocorito. He taught for nearly 30 years.

Jovita Graciano Quiñonez She is the candidate for mayor of Mocorito for the Encuentro Solidario Sinaloa Party. To date, little is known about her career and studies; she even missed the debates between candidates organized by electoral bodies and has not given interviews to the media.
