Tuesday afternoon a young woman died in the municipality of Nopala de Villagrán, Gentlemanafter receiving a severe blow to the head while trying to take a selfie while passing the steam locomotive Empress 2816 “The Empress”, of the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) company.
According to the authorities, her relatives identified her with the name Dulce Lark “N”, 29 years old, and mother of a minor, who was present during the accident that ended up taking his life.
Dulce Alondra was a student at Huichapan Higher Technological Institute and he had his residence in the municipality of Huichapan, where his remains would be taken to be watched in the San Mateo neighborhood. It will be this Thursday when his funeral will take place after a mass held in the Calvario church.
In videos shared on social networks, you can see how a large group of people happily wait for the passage of the steam locomotive “La Emperatriz”, among these people is Dulce Alondra and her son.
As the locomotive approaches, Sweet Lark She turns around and tries to take a selfie, however, as “The Empress” passes by, she hits her hard on the head with what appears to be a tank. After the blow, she falls. Upon seeing this, a young man pulls her forward, trying to help her. However, there was nothing to do now.
His little son, upon seeing the approach of The Empress, chose to crouch down seconds before the accident and did not suffer any injuries.
Before, on May 19, he also shared the excitement that the locomotive passed through the Aragón station, in the neighboring municipality of Nopala de Villagrán.
