On the morning of Wednesday 10 April in Soncino, in the province of Cremona, news of a terrible road accident quickly spread. It was a car collided with a truck. The motorist driving the four-wheeler didn't make it.
The news soon spread to Brignano Gera D'Adda, in the province of Bergamo, where the young road victim was originally from. It was a few minutes after 8 in the morning when the girl lost her life.
Debora Nisoli, according to what was reconstructed by officers of the Crema traffic police, had left the house to go to work. She was traveling on provincial road 235, which leads to Orzinuovi. The truck was coming from the opposite direction.
The heavy vehicle and its small car, perhaps due to the heavy rain that morning, collided head-on. One of the two motorists has invaded the oncoming lane. The 26-year-old's Toyota Yaris spun, ending its run on the guardrail, while the truck went off the road nearby.
Debora Nisoli died instantly: there was nothing that could be done for the 26-year-old
Help arrived immediately, thanks to two other truck drivers who alerted them. The 118 operators, however, could not help but confirm the death of the young woman. An autopsy could be ordered on her body.
Debora was only 26 years old. Originally from Brignano Gera d'Adda, she had moved to Soncino where she lived with her partner. She worked as a social worker, after her experiences at Solidalia cooperative of Romano di Lombardia and the Municipality of Antegnate. She leaves behind her boyfriend, her parents Matteo and Chiara and her older sister Elena. Just a month ago she lost her aunt.
