Chihuahua.- The Secretariat of Public Security of the State of Chihuahua investigates an agent of the Road Police Division accused of sexually assaulting a driver in the capital of the federal entity. This information was released this Friday by the secretary of state security, Gilberto Loya Chávez.
The investigation began after an audio was broadcast on social networks urging women not to drive alone at night to avoid being victims of rape by road agents.
Similarly, the audios reported on a woman who came alone to seek medical attention after being raped by road agents. In her material they explained that after a unit on shift marked her stop at the Periferico de la Juventud, they took her out of the unit because of her hair and they commented on the crime in the chest of the patrol.

Regarding this case, Gilberto Loya reported that the denounced agent had already been dismissed from his post and investigations against him had begun. He added that if found guilty of the crimes charged, the agent will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
