On the night of Friday, June 7 in San Luis Potosí, hundreds of young people gathered at the “Plaza Alttus” shopping center to attend the long-awaited concert by the corridos tumbados singer, Kevin Moreno, at the “Rich” club, unfortunately, in early morning, a tragic accident occurred. The crowd waiting to enter caused an overcrowding that caused a railing in the shopping center to break, leading to several young people falling from a height of at least 12 meters.

Those present at the San Luis Potosí club wanted to enjoy the show of Kevin Moreno, also known as “El Chico Fino,” who is a popular corridos tumbados singer. whose career has grown rapidly, especially on platforms like TikTok and YouTube.

His musical career began to gain notoriety in 2022 in his native Culiacán, Sinaloa, and since then his fame has spread throughout Mexico. On TikTok, Kevin AMF has 2.4 million followers, and his popularity has allowed him to collaborate with artists such as Dani Flow, Natanael Cano and Luis R. Conriquez. Soon, Kevin will participate in the remix of his hit “Dembow Fresón”, which already has more than 33 million views on his YouTube channel.

Kevin AMF is part of the “Poker Music” record label, to which other prominent artists of the urban genre also belong. His music videos usually show characteristic elements of the genre, such as money, luxury cars, alcohol and a life of excess.

At only 16 years old, Kevin has managed to perform at various live events, consolidating his presence in the music scene, due to his recognition, his followers have not hesitated to give their support in the face of this incident in which several were injured and two young people lost their lives.

After the incident, the Culiacán artist, Kevin Moreno expressed his regret on social networks. In a message issued, he deeply regretted what happened in San Luis Potosí and offered his condolences to the families of the victims.

Kevin Moreno and his team also issued an official statement through social networks, where they expressed their most sincere condolences to the family and friends of those affected. “It is with deep sadness and dismay that we address everyone today, on behalf of Kevin AMF and Poker Music, we want to express our most sincere condolences to the family and friends for the unfortunate death of the young people during the event that occurred in San Luis Potosí” .
