Gladys Gutiérrez Lupinta studied Petrochemistry at the National University of Engineering (UNI). Thanks to his efforts, he graduated with honors in 2009, so after completing his studies many doors were opened abroad.

Tongo’s youngest daughter, Madeleine Gutierrez, is a talented lyrical mezzo-soprano singer. She was artistically trained at the National Conservatory of Music and also at a New York academy called Vincerò.
Although she is just beginning her career, Madeleine will be part of the important Opera Nuova Festival in Canada, where she will represent Peru.

The last thing that was known about this well-known popular singer is that he was discharged after spending twenty days in the Intensive Care Unit of the Arzobispo Loayza hospital, where he arrived after complications with diabetes, a disease he has suffered for several years.

After migrating to the capital, Abelardo Gutiérrez began to compose his first songs, which were performed by the group Kiwishow.
In 1981 he formed the Grupo Imaginación and at the end of the 1990s he achieved fame with the songs “La pituca” and “Sufre Peruano, Sufre”.
In 2001 he performed the song to raise funds for those affected by Mesa Redonda, however, the accusations ended up interrupting his artistic career.
In 2007, when cumbia had a place on radio and television, through the sudden death of the members of Néctar, it once again stood out on the scene with a controversial presentation on Jaime Bayly’s program.
