Playing as a star in FC Venezia, Pohjanpalo scores goals in the high-level Italian main league, but playing time in the Finnish A national team is scarce.
Pohjanpalo said on Monday that he was disappointed with the situation.
“I am disappointed with my own role in the national team. It’s quite natural. If someone were to say that they were satisfied in this situation, they would be in the wrong environment with the wrong interests,” Pohjanpalo said in Helsinki.

Rajamäki emphasizes that Huuhkajie’s entire game system does not need to be rebuilt. Instead, it’s all about the small details within the game.
“We need to modify our way of playing with small actions to make it better suited to the best players. No big changes are needed, and Pohjanpalok can play this game in many ways,” said Rajamäki.
“Pohjanpalo needs players with running power around him. The second is that he needs balls to box. There is absolutely no need to focus from far away. However, somehow you have to get the balls into the box so that Pohjanpalo can play in their own area of strength,” continued Rajamäki.
