Mexico.- The journalist Azucena Uresti asked AMLO clarify the accusations against her, after the president exhibited her in his morning conference for showing a woman selling tlayudas at Felipe Angeles International Airport.
Via Twitter, Lily Uresti responded to the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who pointed out for “classist” and “racist” for reporting on the activities on the day of the inauguration of the AIFAasking to clarify where the classism he accused was reflected.
“President @lopezobrador_ In which part of the tweet do you read the classism that you accuse me of? I reported what was happening without qualification or judgment. By the way, President, I’m still waiting for the proof of everything you’ve accused me of. @JesusRCuevas I hope you also take out this tweet”, he wrote Uresti a few minutes after being pointed out in La Mañanera on March 22.

The presenter’s publication was accompanied by the video she published the day before, where she reported on the sale of the tlayudas in the AIFAwhich generated a long line due to the lack of shops in the air complex.
“A lady leaked into the AIFA arrivals hall and started selling tlayudas to passengers in the terminal. Due to the lack of stores that sell food, long lines were formed,” reads the publication that was displayed and described as classist by AMLO.
It’s racism and classism
The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, showed in La Mañanera on March 22, a publication by Hernández Monero, who rejected the video of Azucena Uresti, accusing it of classism, an opinion that the president said he shared.
“Impressive how the inauguration of the AIFA uncovered and exacerbated the most miserable classism. “How awful; that naco airport is full of Mexicans!! »”, Hernández wrote when citing the original publication of Uresti.
In this sense, Andrés Manuel later read the words of Azucena, who indicated that “a lady leaked into the AIFA arrivals hall and began to sell tlayudas”, a statement that was not to the liking of the federal president.
Andrés Manuel indicated that the communicator spoke from her ignorance of the diversity of culture that exists in Mexico, accusing that it was only synonymous with racism and classism.
