A passer-by noticed that blind dog tied to a very short chain and decided to report everything to the local authorities
Today we want to tell you the story of a blind dog who, for 13 long years, lived chained in the land of what should have been his family. He didn’t have the chance to run, play and enjoy that area around him. Those people were tired of having to look after him, so they just gave him the food they needed to keep him alive.
Not only that, the poor blind dog was also forced to live immersed in his own needs.
Fortunately, some passerby with a huge and sweet heart, he was no longer able to tolerate that unpleasant situation and decided to report it to the volunteers of the SPCA of the place.
The latter, once they arrive at the indicated place, have first of all scoured the area. They wanted to understand how much truth was behind that anonymous report.
We got to that land and found the poor blind dog. We couldn’t believe the conditions in which those people kept him. A truly inhumane thing. His gaze shattered our hearts. We tried to convince the owners to let us pick it up and take it away with us. After their sharp refusal, we asked the local authorities for help. Of course, at the sight of the agents, they let go and handed him over to us.
The new life of the blind dog
The volunteers immediately gave him food and clean, fresh water, then loaded him into the car and took him to their structure. It wasn’t hard to convince him. Escape from that prison was a cause for great joy for him.
The vet immediately began the care practices. A long and difficult path to the healing, but no one was going to back down.
After a few weeks, that dirty, skinny, tired and sad dog, he literally was transformed. The fact that he had no eyesight seemed not even a burden to him.
When he was ready, the volunteers also took care of finding one for him loving person willing to do anything to make him happy.
See it today, along with yours new mom, inevitably warms everyone’s hearts. Thanks to these wonderful people who give the most unfortunate puppies one every day second chance to be happy.
