After the photo that portrayed him in a Mussolinana pose, there is something new to embarrass Enrico Michetti, which is in the ballot with the candidate of the Democratic Party Roberto Gualtieri in this last stretch of the race to the Capitol: these are the clippings of speeches that the radio tribune released some time ago about Nazi Germany. The recordings have started to go around the web, like the one in which Michetti talks about the Anschluss: “When Hitler arrives in Austria, Austria asks for a plebiscite. And 99.7% of Austrians adhere to that plebiscite. They were happy ”. “You know what Hitler said about weapons… he said that they are something that must be totally taken away from the citizen. But the Soviet Union also said this. Citizens cannot own weapons ”. Again: “Hitler, let’s read it well. ‘The craziest mistake we can make is perhaps that of letting the races we subdue, oppressed, possess the weapons’, says Hitler ”. “In fact, he wants to make them devoid,” observes the radio interlocutor. Michetti stops him: “Wait, wait. History shows that all the conquerors, all the oppressors who allowed the races subjected to them to bear arms, thus prepared their own downfall ”.
Then there is a passage of political analysis: “When the representatives of the people no longer count for anything, it means that there is an oligarchy that is governing. And when this oligarchy closes ranks, even the oligarchy is no longer needed. We need a strong man. When the situation degenerates, it enters chaos, a strong man is needed to put the country in order. And so we enter the dictatorships ”. “Now they will tell you that you are a fascist like me, they will attack you”, replies the conductor. But he defends himself: “I am an anti-fascist, I will never say it again: I only had one card, that of the Christian Democrats”.
In the latest radio intervention – on Radio Radio – by Enrico Michetti, there is really everything. “Hitler ascends to power through a democratic law. Hitler does not violate, it is not that he storms the institutions, he comes to power because the president gives him the office of chancellor, considering him the right man to solve Germany’s excruciating problems “
