Now, the film’s costume designer, Sanja Milkovic Hays, told Spider-Suits details of Spiderman’s suit from Tobey Maguire, because his previous clothes, which he used in 2002, were mistreated and therefore underwent some small changes. What’s new: a zipper.
“Tobey’s Spider-Man had to be completely redone, because the suit was absolutely falling apart, since it was made with 2001 technology. We put the latches in a slightly easier position, so we made it more comfortable and easier to remove,” he confessed.

He also disclosed that the boys envied each other’s clothing: “It was very funny when (Spider-Man actors) talked to each other and each was jealous of the other’s (suit).
On the other hand, Sanja Milkovic Hays made it clear that, although we see simple red and blue jumpsuits, there are several details and unique features in the costume of each figure.
