According to the Spanish newspaper, Mbappe will sign for Real Madrid in the middle of next week, and the report indicated that “everything indicates that the matter will end before Friday.”
Mbappe will receive a signing bonus that may amount to about 60 or 80 million euros, and his salary will be about 25 million net per season.
The newspaper described that the inclusion of Mbappe “will be the culmination of the signing, which has become the main objective and priority of the entity headed by Florentino Perez.”
“Another thing will be the formalization of the signing, which will certainly not take place until the end of the season, as Mbappe himself is still immersed in the struggle for the Ligue 1 with his current team. Real Madrid has always been very respectful of time and formality,” the report added.
Real Madrid tried to sign the French player last summer for a fee of 250 million euros, but the French club refused to sell its star.
Mbappe’s contract with the Paris giant expires at the end of the current season, and he has the right to negotiate without referring to a club in the last six months.
Real Madrid beat its opponent Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 on aggregate, although Mbappe scored the French team’s two goals in the Princes’ Garden and the Santiago Bernabéu.
It is noteworthy that the 23-year-old French star joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 from Monaco, and during that period he participated with the team in 206 matches, during which he scored 153 goals and assisted 77 others.
