It is not permissible to break the fast intentionally during the day in Ramadan, and whoever does that has committed a grave sin and is obligated to do the following:
1- Repenting to God Almighty: by regretting violating the sanctity of Ramadan, resolving not to repeat it, and asking for forgiveness often.
2- Make up that day.
3- Atonement: It is fasting for two consecutive months for each day, or feeding sixty poor people, and feeding is better. Its value is estimated at (900) dirhams, and each poor person is given (15 dirhams).
