Less and less is missing for the World Cup in Qatar. In the absence of playoffs to confirm the 32 classifieds, the draw for the groups has already been made and the regulations are ready for the competition.
Although there were strong rumors (and they continue to be) that the national team lists could be extended, the reality is that FIFA has not yet confirmed it and For now, the traditional 23 summoned remain.
One of the options being considered is that the national teams can optionally bring three more players and only 23 of them can sign the return. What is confirmed for now is that all coaches must have at least three goalkeepers in the squad and the dates of the citations have already been regulated.
The official squad list must be submitted up to ten days before the start of the World Cup (which starts on November 21). Prior to that, a provisional list of 35 players will be made that each federation must send to FIFA.
“Players included in the final list may only be replaced in the event of serious injury or illness and within 24 hours prior to at the start of the first match”, confirms the regulations and it is not necessary for that player to be included in the initial list.
