What if ?, Disney’s original series, premiered its third chapter on Wednesday 25. The installment once again took fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe into a new alternate reality.
This episode showed us a murder mystery and the return of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) to Earth, but this time in a more impressive way than in The Avengers of 2012. Black Widow, Hawkeye and Nicky Fury were also present.
What if? Trailer, Chapter 3
With the chapter released on Disney Plus, more than one noticed that the voices of Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr, Black Widow and Iron Man, respectively, were not heard in their original language. Let’s bear in mind that several actors from Marvel’s MCU did take up their characters.
Who replaced Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr in What if?
Those in charge of playing Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff in the animated series were Mike Wingert and Lake Bell. Both arrive at the show after making it known that Johansson and Downey Jr. decided not to participate in this Marvel Studios project months ago.
This is the second time Wingert has played Stark, as it was he who took the place of the original actor in the latest Spider-Man animated series. As for Bell, the actress has been part of Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse, where she gave life to Vanessa Fisk.
Among the Marvel actors who have agreed to be part of What if? They are: Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Michael Douglas (Henry Pym), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson).
