Aldair Quintana was one of the archers of projection towards the future in the Colombian National Team and was summoned by the last two technicians of that team, Carlos Queiroz and Reinaldo Rueda.
However, the last few months have been fateful for the Atlético Nacional goalkeeper, who has been involved in several goals. In addition, an audio of his that was leaked on social networks, in which he complains with bad words about the treatment of the green fans, left him in the eye of the hurricane.

The issue was so worrying that Quintana had to apologize in a video on his networks. But since then, he has lost the title of Nacional, which now has Kevin Mier.
Quintana returned to the title of Nacional and failed
Coach Alejandro Restrepo set up an alternate team to face Atlético Bucaramanga this Sunday and Quintana returned to appear as a starter, in which it is only his second game in the semester. But his reappearance was not good.
Quintana was seriously compromised in Bucaramanga’s second goal, scored by Sherman Cárdenas. The goalkeeper got entangled with the ball at his feet after a return by Hayen Palacios. He managed to reject, but Jimer Fory, who received the ball, lost it with Kevin Pérez and, finally, it was 2-1 for the locals.

For the second half, Quintana did not appear on the court. He was replaced by Mier. He didn’t even sit on the substitute bench. Until now, there is no official version of what happened. Did he ask for the change or did the coach charge him for the goal?
In the press conference after Bucaramanga’s 3-1, coach Alejandro Restrepo did not want to delve into the matter.
“The issue with Aldair (Quintana) was in the dressing room and we want to leave it completely closed. Nacional’s goalkeepers are trained to be here and this is a moment to revalidate that decision”, he assured.
