Lukashenko called Western sanctions against Belarus fascist
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called the sanctions imposed by Western states against his country fascist. How transmits BelTA, the head of the republic made such a statement during his speech at the festival-fair “Dazhynki-2024”.
“Our products are well known and loved far beyond the borders of our Belarus. I will say more: in the conditions of illegal fascist unprecedented sanctions that have been imposed against our state in recent years, it was the export of agricultural products that gave other industries the opportunity to adapt to the new situation and reorient themselves to other markets,” said the Belarusian leader.
Lukashenko added that it was thanks to the decision of the Belarusian authorities to actively promote the development of the agricultural industry that the country first met its own needs, and then took a leading position in food exports throughout the world. The head of state added that the work of each employee of the agro-industrial complex creates up to a dozen jobs in other industries.
