The Toyota GR010 Hybrid and Alpine A480-Gibson LMP1 will both race at the minimum weight with which they started the 2021 season at the 6 Hours of Bahrain on 30 October.
Absent the Glickenhaus 007 LMH, in the double event of Sakhir only the Japanese and French cars remain in the first category.
Toyota will race 1040 kg and Alpine 930 kg, the same as seen in Spa in May.
The Japanese drop compared to the 1066 kg they had after the arrival of the Glickenhaus in Portimao, as well as the transalpine ones, which had risen to 952 kg.
The two cars will also have the same engine power as the Spa six hours, with a slight increase, but with fuel at each stint.
The Toyota is in fact on the 909 MJ (962 were those of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and 964 the MJs of the previous races), while the Alpine will be at 816 MJ, down from the 844 of Le Mans and the 918 of the Monza round.
These figures are less easy to interpret, but probably correspond to the difficulties faced by the FIA and Automobile Club de l’Ouest in matching the lengths of the car stints.
The published BoP table is marked with the words “Bahrain competition”, which is valid in theory for both races scheduled in Sakhir, but the FIA and ACO reserve the right to make changes at any time.
In GTE Pro, the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo has a modified BoP according to the automatic system, which was not applied to Le Mans.
The two AF Corse 488s will run at 1255 kg as they did at Monza, but four liters less fuel will be allowed at each stint and less turbo boost than the 6 Hours of Monza in July.
The BoP of the Porsche 911 RSR is unchanged from the tricolor round.
