On the Fiorano track, the Prancing Horse Le Mans Hypercar took its first steps with Alessandro Pier Guidi and Nicklas Nielsen alternating at the wheel between morning and afternoon, under the watchful eye of the technicians and the CEO, Benedetto Vigna.
The Piedmontese and the Dane completed short series of laps, before returning to the pits and allowing the engineers from Maranello and the AF Corse team – who will manage the vehicle in the championship – to analyze the first data collected by this innovative car. and the correct functioning of all the components, gradually intensifying the work during the day that ended at 18.30.
“After so many months spent in the simulator I was finally able to drive the real car and it was an important emotion. Driving the Ferrari that will return to the premier endurance class 50 years after the last time with official cars gave me strong emotions “, commented Pier Guidi at the end of the day.
“We are only at the beginning and there is a lot of work ahead of us but the feelings are very positive. I am proud and happy to have brought the LMH to its debut, which marks the beginning of a new adventure for Ferrari”.

Nielsen added: “It was a special day. Being among the first to bring Ferrari’s Hypercar to the track is a dream come true. Since I was a child I have dreamed of driving a Ferrari, and doing it with the car that will be at the route of the premier class is incredible “.
