History
For the first time the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Autodrome, inaugurated in 1953 and so named since 1988 – following the death of the founder of the Maranello-based company – hosts an FIA WEC race. The track, which measures 4.909 kilometers and includes 21 curves – 12 left and nine right – is home to the first test on European soil of a world championship calendar which, overall, this year includes eight events.

Davide Rigon, 296 LMGT3 #54: “After the debut in Qatar we prepared ourselves as best we could in view of the Italian event of the World Endurance Championship. I hope that our crew can be competitive and I believe that we will begin to discover the values on the field from the first free practices on Friday.”
“At Imola I expect many fans in the stands to support the Ferraris in both the LMGT3 and Hypercar classes: we would like to give them all a memorable weekend.”
“The track? Imola is an 'old school' track, with gravel and grass delimiting the asphalt strip. Track limits are therefore impossible and you need impeccable driving, without mistakes, to be able to achieve a result.”
Alessio Rovera, 296 LMGT3 #55: “I can't wait to compete in Imola more than a month and a half after the first round in Qatar. In Italy I expect a test similar in some respects to that of Lusail, with the competitive Ferrari 296 LMGT3s. Our goal is to get on the podium, while the dream is to give a victory to our fans.”
“Personally, I like the Imola track very much: I have competed there many times in the past, in the various Italian categories, so I know this track well and I am sure that the 6 Hours of Imola will be a race that will provide a spectacle.”
