Weather Snow is now accumulating rapidly in Lapland – 35 cents at Kittilä Kenttärova observation station

Snow continues during the evening and night but weakens on Sunday.

North- and there has been a lot of snow in Central Lapland on Saturday. The Finnish Meteorological Institute reports that 20 centimeters of snow layers have been widely measured at the observation stations.

Most snow has been measured at the Kittilä Kenttärova observation station, 35 cents.

Snow continues during the evening and night but weakens on Sunday. Even on Sunday, however, the snow can still come a few cents.

In the southern part of the country the day has been clear and in the central parts cloudy. The highest temperatures in southern Finland have been around 10 degrees.
