More bad weather in Italy: Civil Protection issues weather alert for eight regions
On Thursday 8th August, Italy will be the scene of a clash weather significant, with several regions facing severe weather conditions while others continue to experience summer heat. The Department of Civil Protection, in collaboration with the regions involved, has issued a severe weather warning that will affect specific areas of the country.
The Civil Protection has issued a yellow alert for storms and hydrogeological risk for six regions: Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Molise, Puglia and Trentino-Alto AdigeThese areas will be most affected by bad weather according to the weather forecast.
Tomorrow will start with mostly clear or partly cloudy skies over much of the country. However, in the afternoon, atmospheric instability will take over, especially in the mountainous areas. Rain is expected temporal and showers on the Alps and Prealps of Lombardy and the East, along the Apennines and on the mountainous areas of Sicily. In the evening, the situation should improve in most regions, with residual instability that will persist only on the Prealps of Veneto and in Carnia.

Temperatures will register a slight increase in the North, with maximums expected between 31 and 37 degrees. In the Center, the South and on the Islands, the thermal values will remain mostly stationary, maintaining a warm climate.
