Minister of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Luís Roberto Barroso said this Thursday (22), on social media, that he spoke with the Minister of Defense, General Braga Netto, and with the president of the Chamber, Arthur Lira (PP-AL). According to Barroso, the two denied any threat that the 2022 elections would be conditioned to the “audible” printed vote – as reported by the newspaper Estado de S. Paulo.
“We have a Constitution in force, functioning institutions, a free press and a conscious and mobilized society in favor of democracy”, wrote the minister on his Twitter account“.
