Koulibaly defends Naples on social media: “Anti-racist city”
Often victim of such abuses and always in the field against racism, Kalidou Koulibaly does not send them to say: no one uses me to attack Naples. This is the meaning of KK’s Instagram stories in responses to accusations of racism against the city that welcomed him with open arms 8 years ago.
The 30-year-old blue defender with the contract expiring in 2023, however, has once again shown his love for the Neapolitan city and for the Neapolitan fans through social media. The photo published by KK on its Instagram profile refers to when the San Paolo stadium was filled with “masks” that depicted it, as a sign of solidarity after the episodes of Inter-Napoli of the Boxing day of 2018. The theses of the last hours of a racist Naples caused a lot of discussion, but these are concepts from which the person concerned has energetically distanced himself. The Senegalese champion of Africa, in Naples since 2014 when he moved to Italy from the Belgians of the Genk, has suffered racist attacks, but not in Naples. “Negro di m ****”, he was clearly heard screaming from the stands no later than last April, at the end of Atalanta-Napoli 1-3 in Bergamo. One city is as good as another and the vulgarity of the individual does not apply to the whole community. But the Neapolitans have always loved their KK without ifs and buts.
