War Israel and the genocide coalition, the West is playing double standards
For 199 days United States they invite Israel and its government to moderation. They do it with the same good nature that a father would use towards a spoiled and unmanageable son. The Secretary of State Antony Blinken in one of his last press conferences he used the term “mindful” to invite Netanyahu to contain the number of deaths a Gaza. A term that would be fine in a yoga or meditation session, certainly not in a press conference where war and probable genocide are discussed. An unequal war that sees the world's second largest military power deployed on one side, and the largest concentration camp on the planet on the other, where over two million unarmed civilians are trapped like mice, 70% of whom are women and children. .
For 199 days Blinken calls on Netanyahu to make more precise and targeted attacks. And the more she repeats it to him, the more he escalates it. And he does it by mocking allies and supporters who, prone as certain parents are gripped by guilt, instead of punishing him, as for example was done with the Putin's Russia, they support him, justifying every one of his embezzlements, crimes, violations and misappropriations. Including that of the lands and properties of others that Israel takes away from the Palestinians at the speed of time-lapse. A perverse pathological dynamic today rewarded by the United States Chamber with the approval of the phantasmagoric figure of 26 billion dollars. The decision was justified by the ongoing emergency in Israel due to Iran's counter-attack. It will have to be examined by the Senate, it's true, but most of it is done.
The measure, which Netanyahu and his government see as a victory that should quell any concerns about ties between the United States and Israel, was stubbornly pursued by Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House. It is thanks to him that the law on aid to Israel and Ukraine – which brings home 61 billion – and that to Taiwan – 8 billion – was voted by both Democrats and Republicans. A very tasty round game. In fact, it is known how the US military funding: whatever the amount, whoever receives it has the obligation to spend it by purchasing war material from American manufacturing industries. Only a small percentage of the sum provided, equal to approximately 10%, can be spent freely.
The result of this colossal mountain of money granted to Israel, officially allocated to allow it to defend itself from possible and unlikely attacks by Iran, will most likely be invested in the purchase of weapons with which Netanyahu will “complete the job in Gaza” , destroying Rafah and causing the deaths of a few more tens of thousands of Palestinians. Better if women and children, to nip in the bud any possibility of their multiplying.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the Atlantic, the European Union and the United Kingdom, who in turn were outraged by Iran's symbolic counter-attack, ignoring that Tehran's attack followed the unprecedented bombing and destruction of its consulate in Damascus – a violation which, it is worth remembering, is equivalent to a declaration of war – by mutual agreement they decided to subvert International Law by sanctioning the attacked and acquitting the aggressor.
Maybe even us Westerners we are starting to read from right to left. Robert Inlakesh, of the Palestine Chronicle, in an enlightening documentary that appeared yesterday afternoon on the newspaper's website, asks everyone this mischievous question: “Does the West operate under a supremacist ideology?”. The answer is in the question. In the choices of the genocide coalition.
