Capcom hasn’t supported users’ desire for Dino Crisis for years now. Many had hoped for this with Exoprimal, but it turned out to be something completely different. Fortunately, an amateur remake developed using Unreal 5 is in development which is very promising indeed. A demo is also now available, which you can download and play.
The project is handled by a single developer, Stefano Cagnani, so it is a work carried out with great passion, despite some obvious limitations. The demo is still a great way to see what a modern version of Dino Crisis could look like. You can download it from developer’s itch.io page. Of course there is also a nice trailer to see.
The only detail is that there is a price to pay. Very small, in reality, given that we are talking about only one euro, but problematic from a legal point of view, given that it is unlikely that Cagnani acquired the license for the Dino Crisis series.
