(Reuters) – Major Wall Street indices opened higher on Monday, with the Dow hitting a record high as major industrial companies were supported by the approval of a $1 trillion infrastructure package in the United States.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.24% to 36,416.46 points. The S&P 500 was up 0.08% at 4,701.48 points, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.15% at 15,995.72 points.
