“As Unindustria Sanità we express our appreciation for the recent provision of the Lazio Region, led by President Francesco Rocca, which provides for the allocation of 17 million euros for additional services in order to reduce waiting lists”. Thus Luca Marino, vice president of Unindustria with responsibility for Healthcare, in a note. “We welcome the involvement of accredited private structures which have always been a fundamental resource for the correct functioning of the regional health system – continues Marino – The private structures are ready to collaborate immediately, being able to make available a production capacity greater than that used so far , especially after years of blocked and reduced budgets.”
The plan, which involves the purchase of approximately 400 thousand extra-budget services, represents a crucial solution to guarantee the citizens of Lazio a more efficient and timely healthcare service, fully exploiting the potential of the accredited private system.
“Our national healthcare system, founded on a balance between public and private structures – adds Marino – has always been recognized as one of the most efficient at an international level, with an optimal use of resources, but to keep it that way it is important that everyone gives their contribution. We, as accredited private structures, are ready to do our part and contribute significantly to the resolution of this problem, guaranteeing an adequate service to citizens”, concludes the vice-president of Unindustria Sanità.
