Volleyball VaLePa overcame the first hurdle in the Champions League qualifiers

In the next qualifying round, VaLePa will face either Benfica in Portugal or Tartu in Estonia.

Sastamalans VALELPA overcame the first hurdle in the men’s volleyball championship league qualifiers when it dropped the Dutch Apeldoorn team to 6-3 and continues to the second qualifying round.

On Wednesday, VaLePa won Apeldoorn at home 3–1 (25–20, 25–21, 27–29, 25–23). In the next qualifying round, VaLePa will face either Benfica in Portugal or Tartu in Estonia.

Mikko Esko led the home team game excellently. Like the opening game, a multiplayer duo Sakari Mäkinen (25 / + 17) and Jiri Hänninen (22 / + 12) was on the effective site. As a chipper Alberto Cavasin made the power 12/0.
