Like all models of the ID. Family, the ID. Buzz is based on the MEB modular electrical platform. Developed on the MEB modular electric platform the European versions of the ID. Buzz and the ID. Buzz Cargo will be launched with a 77 kWh battery (gross energy capacity: 82 kWh), which powers a 150 kW electric motor acting on the rear axle. Autonomy should reach i 450 km in WLTP.

Behind the seats is a fixed bulkhead between the passenger compartment and the load compartment, optionally available with a window and / or through-loading opening. With its 3.9 m3, the load compartment is able to accommodate two euro pallets.
The total permissible mass of the ID. Buzz Cargo is 3.000 kg, with a payload of 650 kg. The load inside it can be secured to the anchor rings in the floor and to the special guides on the side walls.
The ID. Buzz Cargo features a large opening tailgate and a sliding door on the passenger side. Furthermore, as an option, it is possible to equip the Cargo version with a second sliding door.
