The artistic director of the Moscow Theater Oleg Tabakov, People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Mashkov supported the initiative of his colleagues to place COVID-19 vaccination points in cultural institutions.
“It’s great if people who are ready and willing to get vaccinated have more options and places where it can be done,” Mashkov wrote on his Instagram.
By the way, Mashkov himself recently received a second vaccination against coronavirus. The artist said that he feels good.
Recall that the idea to host a mobile station for vaccination against coronavirus was put forward by the artistic director of Helikon-Opera Dmitry Bertman. His colleague from the Pushkin Theater Yevgeny Pisarev supported him. The Mikhailovsky Theater had previously launched a similar initiative in St. Petersburg.
The proposal of the capital’s theaters was supported by the Moscow City Duma. Yevgeny Gerasimov, chairman of the Duma commission on culture and mass communications, spoke in his favor.
