Visual arts Factories, slaughterhouses and warehouses will be transformed into cultural facilities all over Finland – “My heaviest project”, says the investor who renovated the factory in Seinäjoki

Old industrial properties have been extensively converted to cultural use in recent years. In Helsinki, the Vallila machine shop area is one of the latest examples, and more can be found in the provinces. The trend is international.
